What you need to know for OLA All-Star Weekend in Miami!
What is the Beach Tennis All-Star Weekend?
The Beach Tennis All-Star Weekend is an exciting three-day event celebrating the world’s best beach tennis players while promoting wellness and the growth of the sport in the U.S. We will have a Pro-AM event and 2 amateur tournaments (men's and women's).
Where will the event take place?
The event will be held at a private villa on Venetian Island, Miami, called Vilasorella. The full address will be shared via email after ticket purchase.
Who can attend the event?
This event is open to anyone who enjoys racket sports, wellness activations, and networking. There are 16 players (8 teams) in the men's and women's amateur tournament and 12 players (6 pros and 6 amateurs) in the Pro-Am.
Can I buy tickets at the event, or do I need to purchase them in advance?
Tickets can only be purchased online through our website here. We highly recommend securing your spot in advance as space is limited.
What activities are included with my ticket?
All wellness activities are included with your ticket for the 3-day event. This includes ice baths, pool usage, drinks, snacks, Oakberry acai, and other activations.
Will there be any professional players participating?
Yes! We’ve confirmed 6 of the world’s top beach tennis players. They will be attending all three event days for tournaments, exhibitions, and networking opportunities. Confirmed players include Andre Baran, Michele Cappelletti, Felipe Loch, Allan Oliveira, Aksel Samardzic, and Carlos Vigon.
Can I participate in the tournament, or is it for invited players only?
Yes, anyone can participate in the Men’s and
Women’s Open Draws, as long as they are at an intermediate or advanced
level.
The Pro-Am tournament is invite-only, as it
requires a specific skill level in beach tennis.
What is the format for each tournament draw (Pro-Am, Men’s, and Women’s)?
Pro-Am: Group stage on Friday (2 matches against 2 separate opponents) 1 set to 6 with tiebreak to 7 if needed. Group stage determines seeding for the single elimination bracket on Saturday. All teams advance to Saturday but the top 2 teams from group play automatically advance to the semifinals Saturday while teams 3-6 will compete Saturday in the Quarterfinals.
Open Men’s Draw: 3 games of group play on Friday, (3 matches against 3 separate opponents) each match is 1 set to 6 with tiebreak to 7 if needed. The top 4 of the 8 teams advance to a single elimination bracket on Saturday.
Open Women’s Draw: 3 games of group play on Friday, (3 matches against 3 separate opponents) each match is 1 set to 6 with tiebreak to 7 if needed. The top 4 of the 8 teams advance to a single elimination bracket on Saturday.
Will there be prizes for the tournament winners?
Pro-Amateur: Cash prizes & Sponsor gifts for both the Pros and the Ams as detailed below
Pro prizes:
1st place: $1,500
2nd place: $1,000
3rd place: $500
Amateur prizes: 1st place team receives a medal, bragging rights, and $500 of gift cards from our sponsors, 2nd place team receives a medal and $300 of gift cards from our sponsors, 3rd place team receives a medal and $200 of gift cards from our sponsors.
Open Men’s Draw Prizes: 1st place team receives a medal, bragging rights, and $500 of gift cards from our sponsors, 2nd place team receives a medal and $200 of gift cards from our sponsors.
Open Women’s Draw Prizes: 1st place team receives a medal, bragging rights, and $500 of gift cards from our sponsors, 2nd place team receives a medal and $200 of gift cards from our sponsors.
What should I bring to the event?
- A reusable water bottle
- Sunscreen
- Swimwear for the pool
- A towel for cold plunges and pools
Is there parking available at the venue?
Please consider taking an Uber or Lyft to the event because parking is extremely limited on the Venetian Islands.
Are food and drinks provided, or should I bring my own?
We’ll have brand activations offering food and drinks, but we recommend bringing your own snacks or beverages if you have specific preferences.
Will there be additional costs for wellness services like B12 shots or cupping therapy?
No, these services are included. Only IV therapy will have an additional charge at the event location.
What brands will be participating in the activations?
We will announce our brand partners on our Instagram page and via email. Stay tuned!
Can I bring my pet to the event?
Unfortunately, pets are not permitted at the event due to venue restrictions.
Will there be merchandise for sale?
Yes, OLA merch will be available for purchase during the event!
