OLA Leagues are built to help you track progress, compete at your level, and make new friends & rivals. Divisions are split into three skill levels. Space is limited!

✅ To qualify for the League Playoffs, complete at least 6 matches with 4 different partners and finish in the top 50% of your Division based on League Rating.
🍁 What’s New for the Fall League?
We’re making a few updates from the Summer League to create more variety in matchups, encourage players to connect with more people, and make the overall league experience even more dynamic and competitive.
Fewer Matches Required
Players now need to complete a minimum of 6 matches during the two-month regular season to be eligible for the playoffs.
You’ll still need to finish in the top 50% of your Division based on League Rating to advance.
Partner Variety Required
Because OLA League standings are individual, we want players competing with different people throughout the season instead of staying within the same pair or group.
To qualify for the playoffs, players must compete with at least 4 different partners across their six qualifying matches.
The goal is simple: meet more players, create new matchups and rivalries, and make the league more social, competitive, and connected.
Rivalry matches are back to help facilitate the variety and provide rating bonuses to those who complete the suggested matches.
New Division I Women's Division
This season, Division I Women will have their own division.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
When are league games played?
Anytime, anywhere, as long as all four players are in the same division. OLA also provides designated league courts during OLA Open Play and Divisional WhatsApp groups to coordinate matches organically.
Do I need a partner?
No. The league is individual-based, meaning you will play with and against different partners throughout the season. Your personal results determine your rating, standings, and progression.
How do I join the Divisional WhatsApp group?
Once registered, you will be invited to your division’s WhatsApp group. This serves as the main channel for scheduling matches, receiving updates, and asking questions.
How do I qualify for the League Playoffs?
The top 50% of each division advances to Playoffs based on League Rating. 🎯
To be eligible, players must also complete at least 6 matches with at least 4 different partners during the regular season.
How does the League Leaderboard work?
Match results are reported to OLA's league software which leverages a proprietary, adaptive rating system designed to make every match matter. After each game, your rating updates based on your result, your opponents, and the margin of victory.
How does OLA separate the 3 divisions?
⚠️ All new players start in Division III. To be eligible for Division II, players must complete the OLA Academy skills assessment with a score of 3.0+.
Existing hybrid D1/D2 players will move into the corresponding D1 category for Fall 2026 and will no longer be eligible for D2 standings or playoffs (i.e. no longer "hybrid"). Previous qualifications for D1 will be maintained for Fall League 2026.
Beginning in 2027, every player seeking D1 eligibility must complete an OLA skills assessment under the published standard; 2026 placement will not automatically carry forward.
Any player who signs up for a Division that they are not qualified for will automatically be assigned to the Division III leaderboard until they take an assessment or qualify via the additional requisites listed above. You can schedule your assessment here!
