OLA Open Play Miami Access Pass

OLA Beach Tennis hosts Open Play in Miami every Sunday.

Check in at the big blue OLA tent when you arrive for racket rentals. Advanced reservation is not required unless you plan to participate in a group class. 

The wristbands are color coded to match court level to optimize your playing experience. There are 3 levels: Beginner/Level 1, Intermediate/Level 2, and Advanced/Level 3. You may self select your level at check in but your selection doesn't limit you from playing on any of the courts.

City of Miami Beach Parks and Recreation Department – Waiver and Release Form

By purchasing or participating in an OLA Beach Tennis Open Play session, I acknowledge that I am participating in a recreation program sponsored by the City of Miami Beach and hereby execute this Waiver and Release on my own behalf, or as the parent/legal guardian of a minor participant (“Releasor”).

I agree to obey all rules established by the City of Miami Beach for participation in its recreational activities. If I fail to conduct myself in a manner acceptable to the City of Miami Beach, the City has the right to terminate my participation in the program.

In agreeing to participate in this recreational activity, I hereby waive any and all known and unknown claims or demands on account of injury to person or property, or resulting in death, that may arise from participation in the program. I, the undersigned Releasor, on behalf of myself (and/or my minor child), and our respective executors, administrators, successors, next-of-kin, personal representatives, and assigns, release and forever discharge the City of Miami Beach and its agents, staff, elected and appointed officials, employees, representatives, successors, and assigns from all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs, or expenses arising out of or in any way connected with observing, working for, competing, or participating in the program, including travel to and/or from the program.

This waiver includes any claims based on negligence, action, or inaction of any of the above parties.

Assumption of Risk and Release

I fully understand and acknowledge that participation in the program involves inherent risks and dangers of serious bodily injury, death, or property damage, whether caused by the negligence of the releasees or otherwise. I further understand and agree that the City of Miami Beach and its agents, staff, elected and appointed officials, employees, representatives, successors, and assigns shall not be held liable or responsible in any way for any injury, death, or other damages to myself, my family, or assigns that may occur as a result of participation in the program, including travel or transport to and/or from the program.

I expressly acknowledge, understand, and agree that the activities of the program may be inherently dangerous and involve the risk of serious injury and/or death and/or property damage. I have carefully read this agreement, understand its contents and meaning, and fully realize that participation may expose me (or my minor) to dangers and hazards that may arise in connection with such activities. I sign and accept this release as my own free and voluntary act.

I further expressly agree that the foregoing release, waiver, and indemnity agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the State of Florida, and that if any portion of this agreement is held invalid, the remainder shall continue in full legal force and effect.

Photographic Release

I hereby authorize the City of Miami Beach and its agents, staff, elected and appointed officials, employees, representatives, successors, and assigns to take such photographs, television recordings, and/or live transmissions of myself (or my minor), in whole or in part, as they may wish, and to use and publish the same in such places and publications as the City may consider beneficial. I hereby waive any right to inspect and/or approve the finished product or the specific use to which it may be applied.

By completing this purchase or participating in OLA Beach Tennis Open Play, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to the City of Miami Beach Parks and Recreation Department Waiver and Release Form in full.
